I have a 2002 ES300. I bought new H7 bulbs and for the life of me can not reinsert the bulb assembly back into the housing. I've changed them before. Is there a trick as to how they go in. Does it make a difference on how the bulb is attached to the connector. Which side is up, round arch or other side.

Boots are off. Retaining clip is up. It just doesn't fit right when I go back and try to lock them in with the clip

I'm beating my head against the wall on this. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Photos or videos are greatly appreciated.

Removing the whole headlight assembly should help you see it much easier. Also, see if you have the right bulb - compare it to the old one. Lastly, reference the other side, if you haven't touched it yet.

I know how you feel, I have 2 04 ES cars, changed 2 front bulbs and took about a hour for each one. Total pain in the ***, even if you have small hands. Go with stock bulbs.

Use a mirror and small flashlight so you have some visual reference in tight places.
