My Exhaust for Es300
I'm going for this Apexi N1 type muffler 4" Flat tip with a silencer for my 1998 Es300. I'm going to have to weld it on! What do you guys think?!

It really doesn't fit the car, and these things are obnoxious sounding and often have a drone noise while driving (which is very annoying). I know they don't really make many aftermarket exhaust options for this car, but i suggest something a bit more subtle, not super quiet, but not something that makes you sound like you want your car to be in the fast and the furious. Magnaflow tends to be a pretty good option and a few people on here have done it. Its your car so do whatever you want, but don't expect the opinions to always be what you want to hear, especially based on other things you've wanted to do to your car. I hope you took our advice from the last thread you started and took care of all the servicing the car needed before anything else.

Something I learned from experience. Most of these aftermarket exhausts are built like **** and are of much worse quality than stock. For example, the stock system is made of stainless steel, and is much more complex than you think. So you'll end up downgrading your exhaust, just for that cool sounding note.

Since you're asking for honest opinions: you'll look (and sound) like every dumb kid who puts a stupid fart cannon on their riced out Civic with a giant spoiler and primered hood.
Now if that's the scene that you're in to (which I have no idea how that appeals to anyone except dumb kids), then more power to you. If not, then don't.
An ES is not a wanna-be performance car. It's supposed to be quiet, why are you trying to make it sound louder (and judging by that muffler, worse)?
