Default Ebay Quick Struts for 92 ES300

I've got a 1992 Toyota Windom, so it's more or less the same car as the ES300, I need to replace the rear shocks (front too but on a tight budget so 2 at a time). I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the budget quick struts replacements on ebay such as in the link below???? How did they go in terms or ride quality? I don't mind a firmer ride than stock I'm used to driving a Nissan Skyline with a much firmer ride than the Windom... Any issues with them? Noisy? Can't really find much from people who've gone the budget road..

Never had that brand, but recently bought Monroes quick struts for the rear of my 92 es300. Don't cheap out on these things. Mine function fine, but now that the cold weather has hit I have a constant sqeak in the rear on every bump(annoys the hell outta me).

Did you use the strut mounts that came as part of the quick strut set or did you use Toyota OEM mounts?

lol, Prime Choice is the brand you put on a car if you hate it, and want t make it a deathtrapnfor yourself or the next owner.

This "brand" operates out of my city, and is a new cover up for a prior parts supplier that was shady and sold the absolute worst parts.

Admittedly, I risked it back in the day since they were the only ones with a rear hub at the time... The thing was **** and wobbly within 8 months.

Ok so Prime Choice not such a prime choice then..... They are actually StrutTek brand distributed by Prime Choice tho are these what you tried? Are all the similarly priced options no good?
Anyone got any experience with other cheap options from Ebay such as AM autoparts:

I haven't bought any struts. The only ones I bought was Monroe's quick struts, but then again I have a 2001.

I just saw the brand, and offered up my experience with their subpar stuff. I could go on, but I wouldn't bother with any of the no-name brand stuff that you're looking at.

"Sensen" is decent from the lower end stuff, with some experience by members on here - but that is just the strut. Had I know about this brand prior to buying my quick struts I would've just replaced it with those.

Would it not be cheaper to buy a complete used strut off a Windom from Japan? You guys are much closer to them, that I am and I've gotten stuff shipped across the world to me for very reasonable in the past...
