I wasn't sure whether you were dealing with the front stabilizer or rear, but they are the same. In the diagram the only part you care about is step 1 and 2.

As for the canister vent value, sorry but I can't find any diagrams for you.

As far as I am aware, no you won't need an alignment, however, if someone knows different hopefully they'll let you know, because i'm not 100% sure. You only need an alignment after doing things like tie rod ends, arm shafts, struts, etc.

That is correct. You only have to do alignment if you mess around with tie rod, ball joints, lower (and upper) control arms, struts, etc....

You don't need an alignment if you are doing brakes and sway bar end link.

If your stabilizer link is bad, you will hear knocking when going over bumps.....not vibrations when braking.

Best is to replace the brake pads and rotors first. Then see if the noise is still there.

I think the part you mentioned, Canister vent valve 90910-12271, is the VSV for the charcoal canister shown in this attachment. From the diagram it looks like it would be easy to replace. It appears to be near the air intake where the air filter is located.

The hard part about replacing the stabilizer link is getting them off because their nuts become rusted and there is no way to hold the bolt to unscrew the nut. I usually end up cutting them off. Other people have had some luck using vise grips. If they are not too rusted and too loose an impact wrench will work.

The bolt has a hole in the end for an Allen wrench to hold it while the nut is turned with a wrench. In my experience, the nut is usually too rusted for this to work.

BTW, Amazon has the VSV for about $30.

Do yourself a favor and replace it yourself.

There is a Allen key hole on the studs of the link. You have to insert an Allen key to hold the stud in position while turning the nut.
