The hard part about replacing the stabilizer link is getting them off because their nuts become rusted and there is no way to hold the bolt to unscrew the nut. I usually end up cutting them off. Other people have had some luck using vise grips. If they are not too rusted and too loose an impact wrench will work.
The bolt has a hole in the end for an Allen wrench to hold it while the nut is turned with a wrench. In my experience, the nut is usually too rusted for this to work.

just curious otherwise from activating the check engin light what does this do how does it affect the vehicle now that it's not working the dealership said not to worry about it but i'm still curious
