My car wont sell!
I have had my car on craigslist for MONTHS and it still has not been sold, people came, people looked, but they were not serious buyers. I dont see why nobody has bought it, its a 2001 ES300 with only 63k miles on it! i lowered the price too!
why wont it sell? Is there anything i can do to get more people intrested?

I've seen the car on instagram... I understand the low mileage and how it was taken very well care of, but for the age of the car you're asking a little too overboard. Maybe if you could appeal to potential buyers that a major tune up or equivalent maintenance was done, it would help a little.

63k miles is nice, but so is price.
This is your direct competition, albeit more than twice the mileage of yours, money talks.

I too, would buy a higher mileage car than your any day of the week, simply because, 9k is still a lot [there's a reason the same crackpot dealers asking similar money for similar mileage on ebay never sell[
At 9k, you put 3k down on an 07-08 GS350 and finance the remaining 15k over 3-4years makes FAR more sense.
Or even an '03 ES with twice the mileage [already 2 years younger than yours] for the same coin; http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...886251628.html
It's STILL a 12 year old car... I also noticed there's a few more low milers asking the same money you are, they're probably in the same boat.

Well no wonder was sitting there for months. You post a photo with the KBB value just to show your possible clients that you're asking more than the car is worth. The triggers me off all the time. You post that only is your asking price is lower than the KBB value to emphasize what a great deal they get.
Now with the new price you have a greater chance to sell it. Try autotrader. You pay I think @$50 but it is a great exposure and it's not that much.
I will also advice to take better pictures and the money maker photo in any selling add is the one with all the keys and remote and car manual if you have them. People like to see that . show that last

Agree with everyone else. Way to high on price. Keep lowering the price at $500 increments and it will sell eventually for what it is worth.
A car is only worth what the market(buyer) is willing to pay. I bout my 96 recently for $2900 @ 200K miles. Pristine condition @ this link: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...y-96-e300.html

I think the price is fine, because it's a fairly low mileage example in excellent condition. I think the problem is that you're "firm" on the number. You should advertise the car for a little more than you would like to get for it, and include "OBO" in the title. That opens the door to a lot more offers, and makes prospective buyers feel a lot more comfortable about the purchase.
Also as noted previously, get rid of the KBB picture. You should be advertising the car, not the price. As for the pictures, I would recommend taking more "lively" shots somewhere out in the open without any other cars around it. Particularly, don't take your pictures at a shop, it sets a bad vibe about the car - as if it always spends its time there. Look at some professional dealer listings, and take note of all the angles that they use.
Lastly, I would recommend stepping up to a more serious publication like cars.com or autotrader. Craigslist should only be used for anything under $5k, and don't expect serious buyers.
