2000 es300 hesitation problem
Hey guys i have a problem with my lexus es300 it hesitates everytime i hit the gas from 0- 20 mph and after that it is smooth sailing, and no CEL on indicating a problem? I haven't changed the tranny fluid or filter could that be the cause of the problem? Everything is Ok otherwise car is good running condition and no major issues. So anyone can help me will be greatly appreciated ?

Need more info. Can you tell if it's the engine not responding (momentary drop in rpm before accelerating) or is the engine responding but it's just sluggish. Without any other info it sounds like tip-in, if that is the case first things I'd do would be to: inspect the air filter, look for cracks in the intake boots, and check spark plug condition.

There is a momentary drop in RPMS before accelerating, then it takes off. Sparkplugs are brand new just replaced them with NGK just a couple days ago, air filter is not dirty also, when u step on the gas it bogs then takes off at 30 mph? No cracks in the boots or any rubber hoses that i see?

Get a can of throttle body cleaner. While the engine is idling spray it around the intake hoses, throttle body base, intake base, etc. if the idle picks up when you spray that's where the leak is. It sounds like you have pretty severe tip in which would indicate that it's leaning out momentarily. If it accelerates nice and strong at higher speeds that would eliminate a fuel flow issue.
