Rubbing tires hhheeeelllppppp
Hey guys
I have 18s on my 02 es300. They are 18x8 35 offset with 225/45/18 bf Goodrich tires. Whenever I hit a bump, the rear tires rub a lot. Anyway to fix this? I heard spacers will fix my rubbing problem ? Or rolling my fenders ? Please helpppp I have made numerous posts here after tirelessly searching the forum , but have not received any help
Thanks

+1 on that ^
I know I've got one blown in the rear because my rear right wheel well sits a lot lower. It's pretty common for this to happen to only one side, so just give it a measure with your fingers and it should give you a pretty good idea. If it's on both sides though you'll have to get a bit more in depth with your examination.
<--Your faces when I almost wish all mine were this way because it sits like it's lowered. Saving for a suspension update now though.

strut quotes
Hey guys,
I got a quote from Toyota of Naperville for $705 for the rear struts. Parts and Labor
I also got a quote from my mechanic who I have been taking my car since I had it, and I got a quote for $300 but with Monroe struts. Anyone have experience with monroe struts?
He said he will call me about OEM strut pricing tomorrow.
Anyone know a good brand for struts that will keep my car smooth like oem?
thanks

Be sure they are bad. Nothing wrong with Monroe, they may be a bit stiffer than OE. A bad strut shouldn't make a big difference in ride height as they only dampen motion, the coil spring is what determines ride height. Do a bounce test on the rear struts, put your knee on the back bumper and rock it up and down several times then step away... it should go up, down just a bit then stop level. If it bounces more than that it's bad.
