by first generation es300 I'll assume you are referring to the 1mz application as the 3vz did not utilize a MAF sensor.
As far as the MAF sensor cleaning goes, I believe it is the same as almost every other MAF sensor: unhook it, spray it with the MAF cleaner, let air dry, reattach

IAC valve. Hope this helps some

So does mine. As I mentioned before the 3VZ-FE does not use a Mass air flow sensor to meter air it instead uses an air flow meter. it is the silver housing attached to the top of the filter housing. What's really great it you don't need to clean it.

You also do not want to attempt disassembling it. there are two screws on either side of the connection port, if you remove these and pull on this connection you will most likely ruin this part. You can see the inside here. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...ml#post1385991

To clean the Idle air conrol valve you can simply unbolt it and clean it up with some throttle body cleaner. You'll probably want to replace the gasket. Which I believe is part no. 22278‑62030.

the IAC valve sits right under the throttle body right? does that mean i have to take off the whole throttle body and some of the inlet manifold too?

It doesn't sit under on the 3VZ. It sit on the side of the manifold right after the throttle body on the side that faces the rear of the car. You have a hose that runs right to it coming off of your main air cleaner hose. This is what it looks like http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...751&cc=1387021

To be quite honest I didn't take mine that far apart. It looks like the only place they really could go is on the end of that shaft though.

wait i think i know where the two washers go no they go on the other end that seals the incoming air (valve end) but why two washers and not just one

actually im missing the bearing which probably explains why
i should look where i disassembled for some more clues
