I currently have a 4 channel amp, and also a mono amp. I have them installed already and they work, but there is a lot of sound coming through the speakers which I am guessing is from a bad ground. Where is the best location to ground out amps in the trunk area ? Thanks !

Also....where could I find a higher performance alternator that wont cost a fortune ?

Not sure if the 1997 is compatible but I know that the Highlander had a more powerful alternator that shared the bolt pattern as some years of the ES. Don't ask me for specifics though.
