hi i was planning on replacing my catalytic converter but having trouble trying to buy one

i dont know alot about cat like what the 1 way or 2 way or 3 way i dont know what those are and how do u find out cat i have or what is the stock cat have can someone help i was thinking on getting a magnaflow or a catco or a welker but i dont know which one to buy do i buy a pre obd2 because my car is a obd1 because it a 1992

I personally run catless. and still pass my yearly inspection.

if ur state has no emission laws for cars over 20 years old then just run catless.
