Hey there CL i hate my 94's steering wheel. Has anyone out there tried changing theirs to a newer 3 stoke. Will i be able to reuse the air bag? Before i start ordering parts I wanted to know if anyone has done this before. Thanx in advance

What wheel are you trying to install, from what year/car? Pretty much all Lexus/Toyota steering wheels will match the splines and bolt up, but the airbag connectors may be different. If so, then you will have to do some splicing and soldering of wires. The cruise control connector is also the same up to a certain year, around 2003-4 I believe but not 100% sure.

I've seen this done on a Camry of your vintage which is essentially the same as your car, so it will work. But the connector is different so you will need the airbag and the connector from the donor car.

The 2003 is going to have a dual stage airbag I believe. So you'll have to re-wire it slightly so your car triggers the higher stage. It has been done search in the SC section here for details.
