Arrow Plasti Dip

I recently shot some plasti dip on my ES. I think it turned out good. Anyone else try this yet?

Emblem and tail lights. Three to four coats on the tail lights, still very translucent.

Any ideas how to fix that messed up paint inside the emblem?

Before shot of the new emblem. Couple bucks at the junkyard, came off a 93 es.

Grille and hood emblem. Side note, would it be possible to swap headlights from a 93 es into my 97? I like the projector look but don't want to go insane with retrofitting just yet. (Damn she needs a wash...)

Recently replaced the lower control arms up front and put in an MB quart 10 with a ported box. Slowly but surely becoming better and better!

I've got a '93 and my paint isn't the best, especially the bumpers they've really started to fade. For a long time I've wanted to get the finish smoothed up and plastidip the whole car. Was thinking all matte black or might keep the two-tone and have the top white.

I really like your emblems though.
Is thatt messed up paint on the inside of the emblem actual paint, or plastidip you couldn't remove? If plastidip, try peeling it with a toothpick?

if it's paint you could always get some gloss black plastidip to cover it and then plastidip the emblem matte black. with the emblem separating the two areas they might look similar enough and you could always peel the plastidip later.

or you could always remove the emblem and do a touch up paint job....http://www.paintscratch.com/

It is the actual paint, although it looks a lot like plasti dip in the picture lol. I will look into that paint touch up. As far as the plasti dip goes, I haven't seen an es flat black. It ought to look good though!

Not feeling the tinted tail lights. I feel like that look has long come and gone. In addition, it increases your risk of getting rear ended. About the 2ES headlights - no they do not fit. You would need to retrofit the projectors into your stock housings.

Was actually thinking about peeling it off soon. Too much of a hassle as it peels too easy; makes it hard to dry the car after I wash it since its so thin. They are, however, extremely bright when the brakes are applied, unlike the VHS Nightshades. Thanks for the info on the head lights, I may still pick them up because one set was in good shape. The other set I may try to retrofit.

Now that you mention it, I might get a big *** wing, hood scoop and slam it with an insane camber...
In all seriousness, I like the look of the emblems blacked out, as well as the grille (chrome was peeling anyways ) I am considering gunmetal gray for the rims as they are starting to lose their silver paint. Plus it will be a closer color match to the bottom of the car.
