4th Gen 2003 ES300 Steering Wheel Clicking Noises
Hello, since I've acquired this vehicle it has had an issue where the steering wheel will produce an audible clicking noise if jiggled to the left and right when parked, and on the freeway during curves it will vibrate and click repeatedly. On straight roads its solid. I just today got the lower control arms replaced and new front tires and the problem is much better, but its still there just a little. On bumpy roads the problem is accentuated. The bushings were shot on the control arms and it was metal on metal when I replaced them. I suspect the intermediate steering shaft needs replacing as well as the struts. I need to test it out further as it appeared to be fixed but seems to linger ever so slightly. I would seriously appreciate any input on this one as I live on a fixed income and need to save every penny to get through the month. Thanks in advance!
