Help with water over flowing!!
Hello everyone...
My current problem atm, is when i drive my ES during hot conditions, while the aircon is ON (it's summer here in Australia)
i find that im losing soo much coolant water that are coming out from the water reserve.. the water is actually boiling!!! (im losing at least 1/2 a litre or even 1 litre of water..
It's giving a headache coz iv had a major service done on the car.. im using TOYOTA long life coolant, iv had my radiator reconditioned and cleaned (radiator flush) and iv had both radiator caps replaced..
This had happen to me 3 times already..
While the water is pouring out from the water reserve, (after i have driven the car) the engine temp gauge is normal.. it's not over heating!! at all..
my mechanic said my waterpump is OK.. but he may need to check the preassure of the water.
Any ideas? tips? hints?

Sounds like there is a clog somewhere in the lines. Maybe left over from the flush. One thought would be maybe the thermostat is only opening up half way, allowing some but not complete flow. Have the thermostat checked or even replaced. Its not that expensive.
The radiator and condensor fins are all clean I assume. Is it boiling over immediately after start up or only after a long ride?
Does it overflow when the AC is not used?

It only happens after a long ride, with aircon ON. (20K-30K). But when i dont use the aircon.. it seems to be OK - Im confused.
Ill get the thermostat replaced soon..
