^^^car looks really mint but $7000.00 for it, yicks. but i guess its worth it in the long run but i'm glad you like it. so far all the trouble my 99 ihas been giving me, the $2000.00 i got it for seems more reasonable compared to yours lol. i'm sure after i fix small things it needs it will be a champ too lol

it hurts now but after you drive it for a few months, you'll be patting yourself on the back.
that is especially true after you drive someone else's car for a couple days or a rental on a business trip, then get back into your ES. wish i had bought one of these years ago.

How's it going everyone. My name is Rudy and I'm new to CL forums. I just purchased my first vehicle which is a 1998 Lexus ES300 last thursday. It currently has 141k original miles on it and so far i've only had to replace the power steering pressure line hose. The original radio didn't work either so I went ahead and put in a Kenwood head unit. The front two speakers work decent but the back ones need to be replaced. I plan on replacing all speakers and adding a 12in sub in the near future. I must admit some of the es300's in this thread are really clean! Gave me ideas on what to do to mine. I have a list of stuff I plan on doing to mine and look forward to uploading pictures as I do the upgrades. As of now this is how my car looks bone stock pretty much.

My names Bear, I've been on the forum for a little bit now, have a neglected 96 ES300. She's all stock have not done any upgrades just maintenance, but shocking how reliable this car is for having no maintenance done. One of my favorite features is the yippee button -ect power.- So I have the fuel sipping of a V6 but V8 power when need to merge on the freeway. There is well over 200,000 miles on this old girl but she's still going stron and hope to keep her that way.

When can we see it?
Hi Bentleyboy,
I'm a recent (4 month now) owner of a gently used 2003 ES300 with 90K miles. It's the best car I've ever owned and I started driving in 1960. See the attached picture.
When can we see yours?
Welcome,
Vic

I am now having a few issues with the engine performance in which I am trying to rectify myself. I am not an experienced mechanic, nor have have done any work on any vehicles in the past. I am dealing with codes 24, 25, and 26. I have changed the plugs and ignition cables, but still running lean and rich with a new code of 24 IAT sensor which I am looking for testing procedures. Appreciate any guidance, and please allow me to thank you in advance for your help.

I failed to also mention that I have tested the EGR valve and found in good condition. The EGR vacuum transducer unfortunately failed miserably which I shall replace tomorrow. Does it have to be Denso OEM part or any will do? I have also replaced the air filter, and cleaned the MAF, and the throttle body which had so much carbon and other elements that took a while to brush and clean.

Tail lights not working
I have a 1997 ES 300. I have replaced the tail light bulbs and fuses. Other lights work fine but for some reason my tail lights do not work. Could I have something connected improperly?
