2000 lexus es300 suspension
Hi i have a problem with my rear suspension on my lexus, everytime i go over a bump or go over bumpy roads, my driverside left rear tire hit my fenderwell. I replaced both struts on it and only the left side makes a rubbing noise when i go over a bumpy road. Can anyone help me out?

Can you actually see the rub spot? The spindle hubs are attached to the suspension carriage with two control arms each, and a control (track) arm forward to the frame. Check the two from the hub to the center at the carriage for worn joints. The other thing is the four mounts that attach the suspension carriage to the body, as the bolts may be loose and should be retorqued, or the rubber bushings worn. If that is all good, and the noise isn't from the tire, then the rubber bushing at the hub assy for the control arm would be suspect, as it is a known problem and others have posted a fix for that on other threads. Lastly, it might be the jounce bumper under the rubber boot of the strut, as it is part of the suspension also.

I had the exact same issue.
I was running 235's on the back.
After my tyres were ruined and ready for another set,
I then opted out for a set of 225's.
That solved all of my problems.
