Default 06 es330 transmission question

Guys,

Does this transmission have a "learn" feature to learn driving habits? If so can it be reset to learn my habits or will it adjust over time? Bought the car from my father and my driving habits are more spirited.

Thanks!

Yes, the transmission does adapt to driving habits.

You can pull the negative terminal off of the battery for a few minutes to reset them to default values.

Thank you, will pulling the negative off erase my presets and nav settings?

Yes it will.

However, I found my 4ES's transmission rather unresponsive and lazy as it seems to be geared more for fuel economy. I've got to really push the pedal to force it to downshift.

My 4ES downshifts properly. I do have the upgraded logic TSB though, which is likely the same firmware as your car.
