Default What could this noise be?

Ok I have a 1999 ES 300 with 132K miles on it. I have replaced all 4 struts, springs, Mounts, and sway bar bushings on the rear, and the rear control arms. My Mechanic said the front sway bars were solid, and did not feel the bushings needed to be changed. They also found a bad rear Hub bearing they replaced, that got rid of a wobble I felt at breaking.

My problem is, I still hear a thumping sound when going over bumps like tennis *****, and am unsure what else it could be? Sometimes I hear what sounds like metal on metal on the front drivers side, but with all I have replaced, I am at a loss. Any ideas?

The tennis ball analogy fits my, especially upon first driving, experience perfectly. Mine is an '01 ES300 with 92K (purchased with 88K). I have no idea what causes this either. It 'seems' isolated to the right front and right rear.

It's 0210 hrs here. I can't sleep because of this suspension noise.

the first thing i would check now is your tires you may have an alignment issue or steering componet wearing out or even a tire starting to seperate

Alignment 'seems' fine, no pulling or drifting. New tires. Michelin Primacy MXV4 205/16R 92V. No, it's not a tire but sounds like a tennis ball in an empty glove box until the car warms up. It never goes away entirely, just quiets a bit.

I wish there was a recording of this sound, so that I could confidently say that I have the same issue. The tennis ball analogy is very similar to what I've heard from my car. The sound was much worse before I replaced my struts/strut mounts/springs, so I'm not sure if something is loose or if it's from another component.
