Help me out here. At night when I hit my brakes my headlights dim for a just for a second then back to normal. I heard a newer solara alternator is a direct bolt on or maybe it was a highlander???
Also I am still having a problem with my heater fan. It only works on low or wide open high. I have replaced the control unit and the resistor but still the same???
Any and all help is appreciated.

Mine has done the headlight dim since I bought it brand new in 1993. There have been a couple of others here in the forums that have stated the same issue. I am not sure if a larger alternator would cure it or not. I just have lived with it for 20 years now.
