Light Bulb Help Please
Hey there guys,
First, I'm new to this forum so please don't think I'm dumb if I make a few noob mistakes
Got a 2005 Lexus ES330 and I am wanting to upgrade my headlights (Low/high beams) and my foglights. Was looking for some Xenon bulbs (Because I heard they were the brightest) and I was wondering what type to buy....The ones @ Autozone were $100 a bulb for the low beams and I saw some kits on eBay that were close to $30.
Another question I have is in the manual for my Lexus, the wattage for my high beams are 60W, and my low beams are 35W. Should I use anything above that? Or will it harm the car or melt the headlight?
The bulb No. in the manual is 9005 for high beams. I see on kits that there is a number like "8000k" or something. What does the "k" stand for? and the number also. All these numbers seem so confusing.
My Lexus came without the HID lights upgrade, also.
If anyone can refer me to any links giving me the right bulbs for my car, that would be awesome! Thanks a lot, guys.
