Trunk Lid Removal!
Good evening folks I'm currently going to be removing all struts and replacing the vehicle using KYB Excel-G struts, however I'm stuck between a rock & a hard place by not sure on how to remove the back light brown trunk panel to reveal presence of the rear strut mounts... any suggestions, help, pics, or links would be much appreciate folks thanks again for your support...

Once you've taken the rear seat out (lift up on the front and pull forward) and the back of the seat out by removing the Four bolts on the bottom, then lifting upwards.
For the removal of the rear high mount brake light, it should pull forward and then up, be careful when you lift up, as there is the electrical connection for the actual light.
Then take off rear side panels near the doors, they should have a push in clip, securing them in place, remove any of those that you find and keep them in a safe place, and the side panels should snap out. removal of the back shelf should now be easy, lift up easily on the rear shelf, it should snap out, you can then move it out of the way.
Removing the rear seat belts that are over the struts will help you gain additional clearance for the strut bolts. Replace any bolt that you've taken out back in their holes so you wont lose the bolts.
Also this helps as well. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...l-worklog.html
