Default A/C Leaks but can't find it holds Vacum

A/C worked great for 8 years this February one side turned warm. Recharged system added dye.

June a/c turned warm again system was about half empty evacuated held vacuum for several hours checked with black light and sniffer behind dash found nothing.

Searched TIS and Identafix networks found no chronic leak spots that other techs have discovered.. Did not charge me .

July running warm again on one side. I have a black light found nothing.

Rick the owner said he didn't fix it because he couldn't find the problem and I would be back.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Check the evaporator drain for signs of dye. That the lowest point in the system and typically that's where it will leak.

I am having the same problem does your ac run cold on both sides on startup and then after a few moments passenger side stays cold and drivers side turns warm?

Opposites side turns warm (Drivers) but same problem. I think I found the problem. I went over the hose again with the black light looking at the ares where the hose crimps onto the hard line. Found very small specks of glowing material (dye that was put into the system) under the black light. really hard to see if my garage wasn't very dark i would have missed it.. Replaced the line time will tell if that fixed the problem. Take about 60 day for the A/C to blow warm again.

Finally the sniffers went off. It was the Evaporator. Dash comes off seats come out. six hours later and it's fixed also replaced the expansion valve just to save the labor cost in the future. This started 2/202- then 6/2012 and 7/2012 and done 9/2012.. My wife is a happy person
