Help! My sis hit a pothole and my steering rack and other has been damaged.
Hi all,
I just came back from a business trip overseas and found my sister has been driving my car.
She told me that she hit a huge pothole on the freeway.
Now, from what my mechanic said all the mounting on the steering rack, tie rods, linkages, ball joints and its power steering pumps need to be replaced.
Please help me by confirming whether i can buy the part from the US.
My car is a RHD while it is LHD in the US.
Will the racks, tie rods and others be the same?
Below are the pictures.
From what i heard from a US supplier, all the things were different for RHD.
I just need your opinion on what has been wrong.
