P0153 - Bad Heated Oxygen Sensor on Bank 2.

P0410 - Is Air pump related. Your car doesn't have air pump. Re check the code again.

It's P0401.
Which oxygen sensor is this? bank 2 is this closer to the radiator or to the firewall? Can I change it myself or it's hard to get at.

Bank 2 is towards the radiator.

P0401 - EGR insufficient flow. Could be EGR VSV, EGR Modulator, EGR stuck closed, or clogged EGR passages.

I'm getting the same code on my 1996 es300:
P0135, oxygen sensor heater bank 1 sensor 1.
I bought the Bosch replacement, but I'm just not sure where it's located on the car, or which one it is, in order to replace it.

Bosch brand oxygen sensor is not recommended. Get DENSO.

Be sure to buy an A/F ratio sensor, not a regular oxygen sensor.

Bank 1 sensor 1 is the one towards the firewall.

Ah, it's the hard one. ... figures ...

Now, you are saying in that second part ... I should return the Bosch and get a Denso, but not an o2 sensor, I should get an A/F sensor instead of an o2 sensor?

Thanks for the replies.

If you bought an oxygen sensor instead of an A/F ratio sensor for the Bank 1 Sensor 1, you are screwed my friend. Go and get it switched!

??? could you explain this a little more, please?

I called Lexus Repair and asked if it's a Air Fuel Ratio sensor or an O2 sensor, and she said it's definitely an O2 sensor.

Is an AFR sensor an upgrade or something? Why do you say I'm 'screwed'?

I replaced EGR vsv and now I'm getting P0153 and P0150. What does P0150 mean?

Same thing for both codes. The oxygen sensors are either contaminated or you got a wire integrity issue.
