I'm getting the same code on my 1996 es300:
P0135, oxygen sensor heater bank 1 sensor 1.
I bought the Bosch replacement, but I'm just not sure where it's located on the car, or which one it is, in order to replace it.

Ah, it's the hard one. ... figures ...
Now, you are saying in that second part ... I should return the Bosch and get a Denso, but not an o2 sensor, I should get an A/F sensor instead of an o2 sensor?
Thanks for the replies.

??? could you explain this a little more, please?
I called Lexus Repair and asked if it's a Air Fuel Ratio sensor or an O2 sensor, and she said it's definitely an O2 sensor.
Is an AFR sensor an upgrade or something? Why do you say I'm 'screwed'?

Same thing for both codes. The oxygen sensors are either contaminated or you got a wire integrity issue.
