Default anyone have diagram?

i would like to use the "flash " approach and recieve my own trouble codes on my 1994 es300.
there is a box attached to my intake with the word diagnosis and a cluster of 9 ports and 2 then another cluster of 6 then 3 and 3 more but i have no idea which to jump with a wire nor do i have a list of codes to compare after writing the sequence of flashes of the CEl

Pin TE1 and Pin E1 is the one you need to jump and count the flashes.

'94+ ES's are OBD2. You HAVE to use the scanner with using the cars OBD2 port to get the CEL codes. The DLC (Data Link Connector, Diag) you can use for the ABS, SRS, Cruise, etc codes by counting flashes, but not the CEL.

i do not have a scanner and the only one i have access to is only for 2003+ so i figured id try the flash method and nothing showed... just solid cel with key on and eng. not running. i was wondering why i had no cel before now and took speedo out and switched bulb with the OD off one and now have cel so maybe drive it to autozone. allthough i know it is obd2 i have no access to one that is compatible with the year.

Huh? OBD2 readers are universal. There is NO reason it shouldn't work on yours if it works on an 03. I;ve used at LEAST 10 diff OBD2 scanners on my '96, and not once had one not work.

In that case buy a cheap scanner like the other guy mention since it's OBD 2 instead of 1.

If it's really OBD2, the OBD2 connector should be below the left side of the steering wheel where the fuse cover is at.

Um, OBD2 is a STANDARD. That would be like saying a 1996 US wall outlet plug on your wall won;t work with a lamp made in 2003. it's the same thing.

Your mechanics probably couldnt find the OBD 2 connector. Open the fuse cover on the left side of the steering wheel.
