I changed mine. Use gloves and have patience. You'll have to shift the battery to get at the drivers side bulb.

So are the front map bulbs ba9s? I can’t find any info on them.
I replaced these on my 05 ES330 with these BA9S LED bulbs. They aren't as bright as stock though.
The stock foot-well lighting is very dim. I'd forgo replacing the bulb (since it only comes on at night and when the car is in park, not when the doors open), and add some LED/ CCFL strips.

Any pictures? If you send us your stock bulbs we can probably use the housings to make them into LED's if you can't find anything.

Well I won’t be able to get to my car for a little while but found the part number for the map light bulbs

I called the dealer and they said they’d have to actually order it to verify the bulb type. Mystery bulbs!!

Driver School Candidate
It would be a little different probably but I ordered a kit from JDM toy for LED interior lights map lights door lights and license plate light first $35 for my 2005 Avalon back in the day I haven't looked for Lexus yet...
