My original ES300 16" Mags look horrible. Basically the paint is peeling away in chunks. I found a local guy that offered to repaint them any color I choose for $180 for all four, plus an additional $50 to optionally paint the inside of all four. I will also have the additional expense of unmounting the tires, and than mounting and balancing them again.

Does anyone have any long term experience with repainted Mag wheels? Is it worth it?

My car is Silver, so I plan to keep them the original Lexus silver color.

not worth it at all man. and usually painted wheels won't last that long either.
just use them for the winter and get some nice 17s for summer.
winter tires is the law anyway in Quebec.

I do have two sets, one set summer and one set winter, however all 8 mags are in the same horrible condition, that's why I was contemplating painting my summer set, hence my question if it's worth it.
