2000 es300 stock amplifier
I've heard that the stock amp is located behind the glove box. I've also heard passenger seat and trunk as well, so I'm wondering if anyone could actually confirm the location of the amp? And also if anyone could provide a pinout diagram from the amp that would be greatly appreciated as I am planning on adding auxiliary to the oem stereo and will do a write up for everyone once I am finished. Btw- It is the Pioneer stereo, not the Nakimichi.

Thanks Salty Dawg. My CD changer died and I've been wondering what to do next. This is a great place to start!
Any tips on new faceplates for the dash wood panels if I go with a new single or double din radio? So far all I've found are black panels, no wood finish

No, all I've seen are black panels as well. I just installed a new double din DVD touch screen head unit, with the black panel, and it looks slick. I know a few years back I saw custom carbon fiber dash kits at a local spot so I'm sure they're around. Good luck.
