Default Selling the Es300

So Ive been pondering sellin my 99' es300. It's an automatic w/ under 109k miles on it, it's grey and really is a well kept car. My reasoning for this post is I truly want to know a realistic number I can expect for the car if I actually sale. Thanks

Need more info than that man! "well kept car" meaning what? Any accidents? Has the tranny had problems/been rebuilt? When was the timing belt done? How many owners? Is the car from the West Coast or came from somewhere else? How does the Leather look?

Also enter your information about the car here for better help with price: http://www.kbb.com/sell-it-myself/

And, pictures of the car in this thread would be AWESOME! (front/rear/left/right, under the hood, dash, front seats, back seats)

You should really be using tools that take into account your local market and options.
Listed below are a few links of a few places to gauge value of the ES.

KBB
Edmund's

Check websites where others sell and buy vehicles to see what they are going for

Autotrader
E-Bay Motors
Our CL classifieds as well, but you'll have better luck on pure sales sites

okay sorry for the delay got some info on the ES as far what it may need. Took it to a mechanic and he said it needs a converter, and timing belt change. also posting pics, inside leather is normal wear and tear for a 109k car, exterior is in very good shape.

That's a pretty pristine ES with relatively low miles, I think you could get close to $6,000 for it.

As far as the work goes, I doubt those issues really need to be addressed immediately, I think your mechanic is just trying to extract a thousand dollars or so out of your wallet. Is there a check engine code for the catalytic converter?

I would probably sell it as is and let the new owner decide what he wants to do.

I'd say 5k tops... simply because of the timing belt, many people will ask about this, and upon hearing its not done will ask an easy 1k off the price since that's what it will run.

It is a nice example of a clean car though. See what they go for on eBay, there's a couple of coach editions with <90k on them selling for <6k as of now...

Man, if I had 5k I'd buy it in a heartbeat! Beautiful car! Good luck selling!

Also, is it possible you could post a picture of the dash? I LOVE the wood and am thinking about using wood vinyl on my '95 ES300. Yours is the prettiest dash ever.

those wood grain dashes are dealer installed aftermarket options.
they put that in the show room cars and some people go for it.
not all the dealers did it. none of the cars from the factory has that.
