Default What have you done to your ES today?

Spin-off thread that I saw in the SC forum.

Post up what you've done to your ES today- or yesterday, or recently... Easy way to organize thoughts, as opposed to many twitter-like threads!

Recently;
Monroe quickstruts
ALL the bushings
Air filter/cabin filter
Put on my winters
New brake pads
Ordered new accessory belt, fuel filter, spak plugs

Detailed yesterday only to have rain/sleet and snow ruin it

Installed new slimmer wiper blades. I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but I will let you know this week, since we're gonna get some rain. But considering how bad the old ones were, anything would be better.

Cleaned my throttle body today with the Seafoam stuff. Used the one where the needle goes inside the boot and the engine is running. Crazy *** smoke came out of my exhaust while doing it. Got a check engine light.
Took a test drive after to burn off the rest of the gunk, I was smoking like crazy!

Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, reconnected, check engine light gone.

Planning on getting a new fuel filter and suspension stuff depending on what the issue is...

My ES is a '98, just hit 180k this week (180,104 to be exact). I keep the wipers down most of the time, I only bring them up for snow and when I wash the car.

This is actually the first car that I've seen with such a feature, and I like it. The bad thing is that one of the previous owners must have not read the manual, because I had to use some touch up paint on the hood.

One more thing I did today was an oil change with Full Synthetic Pennzoil 5W-30 and an OEM filter. Man do I hate the location of the filter. I tried stuffing paper towels under the filter to absorb the oil, but there is just no way to avoid the spillage. I'm going to have to wash the engine again.

Well, since they both are the driver's side headlights, I can't put them both on my car (and I'm not driving around with one stock 2002 reflector style and one stock 2006 6000k HID projector style headlight). So In a way, they're both correct.
