finally took it to shop and got new front brake pads and rotors. The old pads were completely gone and making squealing noise ..
The new pads are ThermoQuiet. I have read great reviews and after test driving it ..i am impressed with the quality and performance.
The rotors are cheap yet good quality ..Now we wait for long term use
here are some pics:

Clear Vinyl Headlights to Prevent Hazing
Just a thought to share with those who suffer from hazed lights,
I clear buffed my Solara's headlights and applied clear vinyl to them. This will prevent hazing.
Check out this video on how it was done:

The vinyl actually makes the headlight look clearer because it reduces glare. We've tested it on a Corolla driver side clear vinyled, and the passenger-side left as is after polishing (with toothpaste) The side with clear vinyl is holding up much better than the other side, which has re-hazed after a month.

Nothing, yet, but I am getting things in the mail and will start soon! I have a GROM kit on the way, and other things I plan on doing such as Kanji characters for the car, and other small things.

This past weekend I changed the coolant and hoses in preparation for winter. Also just returned from the Lexus dealer after ordering a new wheel lock key, because I somehow managed to lose mine Surprisingly the replacement key only cost $35

There is a lugnut removal tool you can get from most auto tool supply companies that renders MOST of those wheel locks as invalid. It has little pins that can slide up and down and fit into the grooves of the wheel lock itself. If you are concerned about wheel theft, consider upgrading your alarm/security system.
