All of those (except brakes because I did those a few months ago) are also on the "endless list" I need to replace all of other motor mount though, not the dogbone, mine looks fine.

That's a good idea! What did you use to do it?

anything thin will work - small flat screwdriver etc. There are 3 of the drain plugs on each front door on '02 ES. They look kinda like slots for coins, about 1/2-3/4 inch wide each.

now that i think about it, about 6 years ago i was looking at buying a 5-series BMW and when i looked at the car i noticed small rust spots at the bottoms of the front doors. Im pretty sure this is due to drain plugs clogging up and water staying at the bottom of the doors for a long time causing them to develop rust. At the time i could not understand why front doors would develop rust, now i know.

Its a must to check for everyone once in a while! Takes 30 sec per door, literally.

Changed rear brakes and left rear calipers (slider pins were so corroded) that it caused uneven wear and travel of caliper on pads/rotor.

And upon leaving the shop, my transmission decided to stop shifting into any gear other than 1st. ****.
