What have you done to your ES today?

Being a 2001 with its whole life in the west coast sun, I had massive clear coat failure across the whole car from UV exposure over the years (along with dings, cracks, and dents from street parking in the city). Moved to the midwest where rust quickly becomes an issue and didn't want to take the chance. Instead of messing around with buying stock colors, and the fact I never painted a car before, I decided to give it a new look and go all white (white is more forgiving to mistakes). Should have posted this when I painted it in late 2017, but forgot about this forum and now at least I can say that the paint job has lasted so far as of today haha! A few youtube videos later on how to paint a car, I ordered some primer, paint & clear, bought a cheap HVLP spray gun, borrowed a compressor, did some body work to fix the dents and damage, and was quite happy with the result. Now I wonder why all white was never a stock color for this model! Total time was about 5 [not full] days, 2 of which were just body work, sanding, and good prep. Also fixed the yellowed headlights & foglights while I was at it which took no time at all. 180,000 miles and still going strong.
