I actually like the amber tails that he has right now. The combination of green and orange looks awesome on cars. Very nice setup

I have a 1999 es300 & I recently got 15% tint all around. I just installed the pioneer app radio in dash also my clif design 2400 watt amp with a 15 inch l7 kicker and 3 farad capacitor. I have two sets a ddm tuning his 6k kits for fogs and headlights.and tinted out my tailights leaving the reverse light clear and then in gonna buy 19 inch VMR gunmetal rims but I think I have to roll my fenders so that's my baby.

Replaced both rear corner tail light gaskets. When I purchased the car, I noticed some water in the trunk on both sides, and I had it reappear a few times. So I figured the old gaskets had something to do with it.

Old vs New

Replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator and the Paper Fuel Filter. So now I have completely replaced everything possible inside the fuel tank. Let's see if it fixes anything.

As I mentioned before, I didn't like the fitment of the TYC replacement corner lens. I finally received the Lexus part today and it fit like a glove. This is why sometimes OEM is the only way. It's hard to capture the difference on camera, but it's very prominent in person.

Lexus OEM

TYC

The Lexus part was also a lot easier to slide into place, where as the TYC I really had to wiggle and push in.

please tell me if those gaskets work. My goddamn trunk is a pool at times. Rusting from the inside out, and ALWAYS wet when rains, i looked but never found the source of the leak...

I haven't had the time to try this, but do this...

Have someone spray all the gaps around the trunk with a hose, and have someone else inside the trunk with a flash light. I would also remove the plastic trim inside the trunk to expose the corner lights.

The thing about the gaskets is that they only cover 3 out of 4 bolts on the lamps. The fourth bolt has a separate little gasket, which obviously didn't come with this kit. So I had to improvise and cut out a new piece out of the old stuff. That is the only spot from where it might still allow the water to come through.

Tried to take out the carpet covers.
Realised they were clipped down ( original lexus carpet covers )
They were really dirty so i steam cleaned them, and the carpet under the covers was absolutely perfect.

It was time for DIY oil change. So went ahead with 5W30 Castrol GTX regular oil (using that for 5 oil changes so far) with Toyota oil filter. And cleaned the carpets and made this design..
All you need a sponge and give it a stroke.LOL

Cleaned every ****, button and anything else plastic inside the car. Cleaned the entire dash, all four doors (on the inside), the windows/sunroof and did a very thorough vacuuming of the carpet.

Next part is to take out all of the seats and clean the leather really nice. Then I will clean/wax the exterior, and finally, buff/polish the headlight/taillight assemblies.

Wish I could park the car in the garage, got too many tools to fit a car inside there. xD

Picked a spare radio for twenty bucks. Took the light panel out and transferred it onto my own unit. It's not perfect, but better than before. You can't ask for more at that price. In addition, I now have a spare board that I can use for practice, in order to solder new bulbs.

Went from this...

...to this
