if you ever get your shoes wet or step on some engine oil, your foot will slip off the pedal like crazy

I was thinking about this the other day, i have a set of S2k pedals i think i'm going to retrofit.

I had a set of MOMOs that are still attached to my Camry pedals.
those had nicer rubber material that were quite grippy.
only problem with those is that I have to drill two holes for each pedal.
Will probably install them when the weather warms up.

replaced the instrument cluster lights! now the gas gauge wont go to full when i put gas in it,

well it's actually not slippery at all because it stick's up a little bit and the black rubber is like grip tape but thanks for your input

Replaced rust-filled fuel tank, pump, "sock", sending unit assembly (I have a fuel gauge again!) and filter.

Built a good instrument cluster out of two semi-working clusters (to do: get my needles filled)


Hand wash.

Cleaned interior beige leather with Awesome Oxygen (non-bleach cleaner (which brightened things up a bit), then protectant (what's the best thing to use?)

I've had to replace the fuel tank, pump, sock, sending unit, even the gauge itself chasing down the source of this problem. Turns out that in my case, rust or some other corrosion had been preventing the free movement of the parts, causing even a good gauge with a full tank to read empty (intermittently; it didn't work most of the time, but did sometimes work.

Took out the entire interior on friday, cleaned and treated all the leather, scrubbed and shampoo'd the carpet! Interior looks beautiful and clean as a bell! Tomorrow will finish replacing the rear valve cover gasket, replace the front valve cover gasket and all new plugs! Lets just say the rear gasket is a total B****

--clean all the seatbelts with simple green and soaked it in hotwater = very clean results.
