change oil light on can not get it to go off

Better yet, try this link. Just plug in your model and year. It looks as if that idiot light is telling you to add oil. If your oil level is fine, as you've indicated, then there may be a problem with the sensor.

and just FYI I had read that the emergency key while it will unlock the doors would not actually start the car .......well my regular key is exactly the same as the emergency credit card key other than the remote door lock transmitter and today just because I wondered about it,so I did try it in the ignition and it does in fact start the car

Reading this in 2018 I tried the link to drivers.lexus.com that Tpcorr had posted and it failed :-(
But then I was able to register on the site drivers.lexus.com site and look at pages of the Owner's Manual for my 1991 LS400 so I hope the light meanings can be resolved once and for all by this:
One light is PRESSURE and one light is LEVEL
In short the one with the waves under it is OIL LEVEL (not coolant)
