shifting problem 1995 es300
please help,im new here, i have a shifting problem with my 1995 lexus es300 automatic transmition, when my headlights are on the shifting problem occurs, when i stop it does not shift back to a lower gear, have to shift it manualy to 1st or 2nd, i changed the tranny fluid and filter a week ago thinking it will solve the problem but it didnt, but when my lights are off , transmition works good. pls help not that plenty of funds go to a shop

thanks mike! my battery's new from Triple A, but i think they're really not the right size for the car since it looks a little small for the actual case (where the battery should be). i'm not sure if you're familiar with it, but the battery has a 35-H part number, RC 90, CCAOF600 - that's what i saw printed on the battery itself. is this really too small for this car?
i was thinking about cleaning the ground so when i saw your reply, i'm glad that it seems i'm on the right track. but is there any other ground that i should check aside from that of the battery?
