Default Replacing side mirror

I had to swerve to avoid hitting someone and completely destroyed my passenger mirror. This is the part number I found for it

87931-3A160

Will any year from 02-06 ES work with my 06? Going to get a used one and paint it then put it back on.

The pillar thats attached to the door is fine just scratched up. I’m thinking it will be the entire thing including the pillar if I go to a junkyard.

What exactly is this part number? The entire mirror unit except the actual glass piece?

87901-33080-C0

When you buy the assembly pretty sure it comes with the mirror itself or you can buy just the mirror. If it was me I'd buy a complete unit which comes with factory paint.

Why is the assembly half as much as just the mirror? Looking on lexuspartsnow.con

Whoa you're right maybe that means the housing comes with nothing inside. If so forget getting it from Lexus the entire thing will be a small fortune.

That’s insane. I think the Toyota ones are different also. Maybe the mirror is auto dimming so it’s extra pricey?

For future reference, the side mirrors come in the same color as the car if you go OEM. I might just do that and install it myself since it will cost about the same as getting a body shop involved.

The 2006 ES mirror is auto-dimming, heated, powered and memory which is probably why the cost is so high.
I'd consider a used one from a junkyard.
