My ES at the Denver ImportExpo 8-31-02
Here's some pics from the show...it was pretty cool. I wasn't expecting to get much attention, I just entered with the rest of the Colorado Lexus Club guys to try to help us win best Team Representation or best Crew, but the F*ing bimmer club beat us in both categories even though we had 2 or 3 more cars than them. Oh well.
But I didn't get laughed at...most people just walked on by, some checked out the rims & intake and stuff and didn't seem super impressed, but I did have a few people who have or used to have ES 300s that were really stoked on my car. Anyway, I'm glad I did it...got my first show out of the way. Now I can keep modding and keep showing and work my way up.
Also, we (the Colorado Lexus Club) had some folks talking sponsorship...we've got a meeting at a local dealership tomorrow to talk business...after the first show! I'm sure its mostly due to the bad *** IS 300s that are in the club, but if I can get some free stuff or discounts out of it, I'll take them!
