wheel corrosion is a common thing people see because lexus wheels are painted not powder coated and given when people don't wash wheels and let the brake dust, road debris sit on it...along with road rash..it starts to flake. if you're looking for warranty, drop by a local lexus dealer and have them take a look and the service advisor would recommend you giving 1-800-25-Lexus a call to see where you and the car stand. but good luck.

P.S. it's only cosmetic damage...so yes, send it to a wheel repair specialists, they can strip the paint down, sand it, and repaint/powder coat it like new

i dont think its under warranty anymore , because it can be caused by stone ... but it's not a expensive fix like ''the wong k '' said

My 04 ES had the same problem. Had one set replaced under warranty. The new set is doing the same thing, not as bad. A few shops in the Detroit area will repair rims for around 150 -200 dollars.

Your rotors don't look too good either!
