ok major update.
everytime i go visit Tony at Dynamotorsports, rainbows shoot out of my head and i get happy like a little girl LOL.
(go to Dynamotorsports.ca to see what this guy does for a living. )
it looks like the plan to have the car supercharged can be pulled in and made happen quicker than i've originally thought of.
My original plans were good, but too grand for practicality purposes. I just learned that I need to make do with what's the most practical, useful and economical.
so today, Y-pipe is completed and installed. my magnaflow high flow cat has been gutted and made into a "cat" LOL. Rest of the exhaust will be completed tomorrow.
Afterwards, a quick SAFC install, a practical choice because 3VZ is simpler to tune.
and BAM, supercharger will be ready to go on! expect this thread to **** skittles for the next couple of days!

Oh oh ohhh man.... I can hear my old car now just by looking at that exhaust... i miss having an opened up exhaust like that... it really makes the car sound angry.
Mine sounded something along the lines of a DEEP V6 rumble, one could actually mistake it for a V8 under the hood.

3" aluminum piping all around and the entire setup weighs about 40 lbs. the pipe section weighs about 7lbs. stock 2" exhaust setup weighs in total about 100lbs.
thanks

Lovely build. I've finally got off the lurking fence and registered.
Speaking from personal experience with my red 92 ES 5 speed with a black leather interior, I hope you have, or will be putting tint on the windows. The interior gets hella hot in the summer. I put tint on my windows to take it from unbearable to bearable. Yes, my A/C still blows cold and not one speck of maintenance on it (yet).
I'm very interested in your work as I'm now getting that "update" itch just to bring my pride and joy for almost 20 years to a more current state (yes, original owner!). Every time I get it, my wallet gets thinner.

I think he might already have his tint on, dont remmber but ... +1 to tint.... I had to have mine taken off to pass inspection, since the law was changed, winter months are here now so it aint bad at all, but before summer starts I'm definitely putting tint back on.
