Rechrome wheels
#2
My experience is that it is too expensive to re chrome wheels - the cost to remove the old coating is more expensive than chroming new wheels.
Most likely need to find suitable wheels to chrome or ones already done.

Probably any wheel shop can send out wheels for re-chroming. The chroming process involves some really nasty hazardous chemicals are there are not many companies that do it. When I got re-chromed wheels on an exchange basis for my LS in 2003 through the local Lexus dealer, the re-chromed wheels came from a company in California. Over seven years later, the re-chromed wheels are still in perfect condition but I've never used them in winter like the previous owner of my car did.
