Slamming car doors
#16
Lol I love this thread already. Like others have said, I'm glad you are not going to put up with that crap. Some people don't understand that if you disrespect a guys car you are disrespecting him.
Also, I don't think the door or window is damaged in anyway. You can check by going on the freeway and listening to wind noise but I doubt there will be any.

This is a very big pet peeve of mine...
I open and close my doors very delicately and with the utmost care. I always only touch the handle, and nothing else around it. When I sit in my leather seats, I am very careful about not scrapping my butt on the leather or hitting the floor boards and door.
It drives me nuts when my friends throw themselves into my seats, risking additional wear, stains, and tearing of the leather. The doors are a whole other story. When opening they whip them open nearly hyper extending the brackets and scratch the paint with their finger nails. When closing they always slam it touching the glass, window trim, use another body part such as the leg and swirl up the paint...
Your window can become unaligned from it, and over time I notice that it doesn't feel as sturdy when the door has been closed numerous. It's hard to describe but the sound changes.
I always strive for the light clicking sound of my doors, that just says luxurious... I know it sounds unusual lol.
