Exclamation 95 es300

Got in my car today, turned the key and I just herd a thunk then the motor locked up .... I thought oh there goes the TB, but I checked it and belt is like new, engine looks fine, but I hate to crank it over any more its just sounds like the piston hit a valve, but at the same time it couldnt be that. Any ideas of what happen did my starter maybe jam up, or did a bolt fly down my intake in to the head, wtf i just dont know any ideas out there,
thanks

With the info given, no one can say what happened unfortunatly. It could be anything.

Agree ^^^. Could be many things. But check your coolant level, to make sure you don't have hydrostatic lock in the cylinders, resulting from a head gasket leak, or cracked engine block.

Other possibilities include the starter, or the TB jumped a couple of teeth.

The pistons can't hit the valves ,1995 it's not an interference engine. On my '94 timing belt went to hell on the highway and no damage done.

Just a side comment.

Even on a non interference engine, if there is considerable carbon deposits on the valves an/or pistons, than the clearance between the top of the pistons and the valves could be reduced to the point that damage could occur if the TB goes.

As much as we would love to be (and get paid for) your personal mechanic, we aren't. This is not ES specific as it is just another car problem. Get it towed to your local mechanic and have him take a look at it. Best of luck with everything and hope it isn't serious.
