Guys,

I need you professional advice.
I just got a car - Lexus ES300 (Year 2003). Perfect condition on 40K miles.
I love it. The only thing that is bothering me is the old style multimedia system (it does not have multi display).

What I would like to do is it to install multi display and back up camera.

Can anyone tell if it is is possible at all.

And if yes, where can I get all the parts.

I'd be interested in hearing about your progress with this as I'm looking at an 03 (albeit with 2.5 times the mileage of yours) and it doesn't have any navigation system. Even if it did, I think I prefer aftermarket systems over manufacturer systems since they typically have a better interface and more features.

If you're going to go aftermarket, than whats the problem? Almost all 'mid-higher end' double-din's are made for camera integration.

OEM - not so much.

I would love to go aftermarket.
The problem that I see is Lexus (as you know) I want to replace the old multimedia system with the new one. Which means that the new one should fit the Lexus ES2003 standarts and size. If you know any sellers on the web that have a good variety of electornics for old Lexus and "educated" specialist (please let me know).
