Default Rear Suspension Issue

I Currently Posses A 2001 ES300 Lexus With Evidently I am having a rear suspension clunk noise when I proceed over bumps it makes a metal clashing noise and is somewhat loud to hear.. I have already replaced the sway bar bushings and checked to see the strut mounts in the rear and they were tight. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Check the sway bar links, they are a weakness on these cars (front and back) and frequently go bad, even with low mileage.

Any ride deterioration, or just the noise? I had both, and will be replacing the struts all around next week.

I had the noise on the front when I bought my car. I replaced all 4 links and sway bar bushings front and back. Sooner or later the links will fail so I just swapped them all out to be done with it.

If you replace the links and the noise is still there, then it's likely the upper strut mount is going bad, although it's much more common for the fronts to be failing. There was a TSB for the fronts FYI, although your car is supposed to have the revised part.
All ES300 97'-00' Front strut mounts replace with #48603-33021 (RH) and #48609-33121 (LH).

No allanlaw just the clashing sound but what lexus 2000 stated I need to acquire the newer revised parts due to a TSB on the Front struts.

Except you have an '01 and the TSB goes through '00. I have an '03 with AVS - but it looks like we can replace those $2,000 worth of shot struts with regular KYB's from TireRack.
