Ignition Coil Problems
Hello everyone,
I need help, my car is 2002 model and my ignition coils keep going out. The first time one of them went out I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to just go ahead and replace the spark plugs and all 6 ignition coils. A month later I found my self with the same problem, coils going bad. I replaced the 2 coils that failed and 3 weeks later back to square one.
Any ideas?

First, I'd ask what plugs and coils you replaced them with. There is a high failure rate with some aftermarket coils; some are not copper-cored but rather alloyed.
Grounding is the other reason for a coil failure. If you have leaking s.p. grommets and oil in the wells, and the coils not installed with a generous dab of dielectric grease, that can lead to it.
