I want to access the overhead light that turns on when the door opens, i want to wire 2 lights to the back seat area and splice it into that overhead light. Is the ceiling removable?

I can see that the ceiling is clipped into place next to the sunroof, i can unclip that area and lower it, but if i want to run wires to the back, i need to lower the ceiling around the outside edges (by the doors) and i cant figure out how to do so.

This is sort of what i want to do, I want to add a 6inch led strip behind the handle (so it's not very visible) to illuminate the back seats. But i dont know how to run that wire.

You need to remove the "side curtain" panels and the side pillars to have access to the other roof clips.

What do you plan on doing in the back seat that you need lights for?

Sounds like a great idea to me. The interior lighting in these cars is pretty pathetic, the trunk light is even worse. I added some LEDs in my trunk to make it much better.
