Best air freshner method
So I'm a big clean freak when it comes to my interior.. I vacuum and shampoo stripe the floor mats, detail and restore the dashboard and all of the plastics, deep clean and then condition the leather, deodorize the carpets, etc etc. I've gone through many different ways to make the air smell a little nicer in the car.. but I think I have finally landed the best method:
Cover all of the vents underneath the seats with laundry fabric softners. The air will push through them and create clouds of fresh laundry smells. The more you use air conditioning in your car the better your car will smell.

i like the peach....coconut is good to...strawberry. They all have that fruity smell...no homo

Haven't heard of the Fabric Softener sheets before. Good Idea.
My car doesn't really have a bad odor, but I really like "Yankee Candle" brand air fresheners and "Wonder Wafers"

once before putting in a new cabin filter on my GS i drizzled some Gain Island fresh laundry detergent onto the new filter lightly all around and let it dry into the filter before installing it, had a few months of awesome smelling car!
i've also put a fabric softner on my cabin filter before, worked well..
the laundry detergent lasted a looong time though.
isn't it funny how good smells fade away and bad smells seem to stay forever or get worse?
i mean you can pour concentrated air freshner in a big bowl and leave it in your car it will eventually fade away, but if you left some food in a doggy bag in your car it would just get worse and worse..

Yea I hear ya. Think I'm going to give that cabin filter idea a shot. So far the fabric softeners wrapped around the underseat vents are making my car smell AWESOME.
